Older pinless bridges and pickups...
« on: September 09, 2017, 08:11:12 PM »
I had a '90s 422R that has the pin-less bridge.  It has an LR Baggs iBeam installed, sits under there on the blank bridge plate.  It sounds ok.

But I've always like the Anthem or the Anthem SL because of the mic/element combination.  I have guitars with both.

I happen to have an Anthem SL free to install, and I was thinking about having it installed on this older, solid rosewood-bodied Taylor.

Anybody have any opinions between the two?  Or because of the pinless bridge, to NOT do that for a reason I don't know?  I can't think of one myself.

Thanks!
