I remembered that Taylor did a limited dreadnought a while back with a deeper body and that it was a custom shop option at one point. I'm curious if anyone has any first-hand experience with either that limited model or a custom?

I'm also curious if anyone has played the new 710 and what your thoughts are. I've played the newer 510 and found it to have almost more of an OM sort of sound profile -- not that that's a bad thing -- or almost a bigger, deeper version of the 12-fret GC sound. I wonder if the 710 is similar in that regard?

The idea I'm flirting with is a new 710 but with the deeper body and perhaps a long scale and solid headstock. I'll probably just end up with the Martin D-18 I've had my eye on for the last few years, but I do love my old 210 and think a rosewood Taylor dreadnought could be cool to have sometime...
