Hello from the Great Northwest
« on: January 11, 2012, 08:31:38 AM »
Yes I am THE SMan. ;)

I have a number of Taylors and many other guitars.  Been playing for over 40 years.  Wish my playing was on the same level as some of the instruments I own but that's for my appearance on Dr Phil. ;D  Been on the AGF for many years but don't post all that much anymore.  I am hoping this forum will do well.  I like the "small town" feel of the place.

 :)

Hello SMan and welcome! :) You've acquired several nice Taylors. Is there any specific one which you'd say is your favorite?

Thanks for the welcome Cindy.  I have had my Koa T5 12 string for a couple months now and it is getting most of my playing time.  Second to the would be the Mini.

Great to have you here!  ;)

First off thanks for setting this place up Josh.

I have quite of variety of brands including Guild, Godin, Fender, Takamine, Ovation, Seagull, a Gold Tone Resonator, and my Larrivee which is one of my favorites.  I have also, with the help of a friend built a Maple Parlor.  In addition I took a Charles Fox class last June producing a very nice Indian Rosewood OM.

Welcome, SMan! This forum does have that "small town" feel to it, so you've found a great place. I was Wow!'d by all the different guitars you have there! It will be great having someone with so much experience as yourself here :)

Thanks John.  A lot of guitars doesn't necessarily mean I have any talent or experience.  ;D  Hopefully I have something to share though. ;)

Thanks for the welcome barefooter.  I am hoping to learn from you guys.   :D

You do seem vaguely familiar.  Hmmm, do you know something about a secret recipe and ride a scooter.  ;) ;D
