No sound from my 310CE

Hi, I'm Richard, I've just purchased second hand 310CE. When I plugged it into my amp, I only get a hiss which does get louder when the volume control is turned, the same when I turn up the treble. I've installed new batteries and know the lead and amp are working, as I've tried them with 2 different guitar which both work perfectly.

Would anyone have any suggestions or have any idea of approximately how much Taylor would charge to repair this issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm not sure what the charge would be, but I suggest you contact Taylor Customer Service. They will probably refer you to an authorized service center in your area, who can assess the problem and provide a quote.

You can look up service centers on the Taylor website.   This sounds like more of a problem than a blown inline fuse, but it could be just a wire that came loose at a solder joint..

Is your 1/4 cable balanced?  Maybe a simple fix.

My 2009 doesn't need a balanced cable, but the 2013s do else I get no volume...

Make sure battery is not put in backwards. I did that once and was in a panic on stage. That is what happens when I do things without wearing my glasses.
