Whoa, that blue guitar certainly takes me back! Blue acoustic/electrics were all the rage back in the late 90s -- looks like Taylor's anticipating a comeback!
8)
for some of us, the rage started 9 or 10 years ago ;)

Is there a drednaught in that group or are my eyes deceiving me?
i imagine there are still 610ce & 654ce models not shown in the pic -
i'm reasonably certain the ones shown in the pic are a koi blue 614ce,
natural 616ce, amber 612ce, orange 656ce & tobaccoburst 614ce-N :)

i believe some time close to end of next week at Winter NAMM -
there are 2012 600 series guitars that are available now &
a Google search will show a few models, along with MAP prices

no your eyes aren't deceiving you... not a single dred in the whole lot... Taylor is more known for their other body sizes/shapes... not that a Taylor dred is a bad thing at all, the other styles I think are just more popular and common

it isn't shown in the pic, but the 610ce will be available as a standard model in 2012 -
the 654ce Grand Auditorium 12'er, however, has been removed from the series

Hmmm...I think I'll stick with green.  That koi blue does look nice though.

The changes induce a bittersweet response in my heart=)  I like the look of the new inlay, but then that means my guitars are now "old"=)

Oh well.  Got the new W&S in the mail earlier this week and in general, I like the little tweaks made across the board.

the pearl leaf inlays had a good run (20 years) &
the 'original' 600 inlays were simply large MOP dots

i also noticed that the blueburst finish option
seems to have been replaced (sigh) by koi blue

change is good & i'm happy with my 'old' 614s too :D

play on ;D

Those look really nice.  I kind of like the Tobacco Burst, but it is not just on the photo displayed.  I love the appearance of mine in real life.  I pinch myself to make sure I am not dreaming.  All of these look really nice :)
