I've been wanting to share all the news since we finalized everything last fall!

New Inlays
- 300,400,500,600,700

Nylons available in all 300-900 series appointments
- Grand Concert and Grand Auditorium shapes

316ce and 356ce

700 series goes Americana
- new inlay and rosette
- vintage burst is standard
- chrome hardware
- cedar and eng. tops standard (tops swaps okay)

All new K-Series
- Island vine & Plumaria inlay
- wood purflings and rosette

800, 900, PS remain unchanged from last year

Hmmm... there's more...

???

:o

8)

thanks for sharing, B :)

also, i was just wondering, since the 600 series pics showed a
614ce-N with the same fretboard inlays as the steel strings 600s,
rather than the blank fretboard that was standard on the NS64ce -
seeing that there will be GC & GA 800/900 Nylons &
the 800/900 series will be unchanged ???  wait for it ... ;)

will the 800-Ns have flamed maple binding & 800 series inlays,
along with the Cindy inlay, ab top with fretboard extension,
rosewood binding & red purfling on the 900-Ns ???

if so,
double  :o

;D
it's not about what you play,
it's all about why you play ...

Oh no. Why does Taylor keep doing this to me. I'm really excited for the guitar/amp combo. I have been waiting for something fun like this. Good work Taylor.

I'm so relieved that the binding and rosette on the new 700s are ivoroid and not maple.  My latest BTO sports both rosette and binding of maple. I'd like for it to remain unique for a while anyway. I wonder whether the 500s will retain their rosewood binding and abalone rosette. I'm still scheming for a rosewood addition to my stable, but it may have to be a BTO with lots of wood everywhere and nary an inlay except for the Taylor logo on the headstock. Still, Taylor has done some nice work with the changes I've seen so far...
My Taylor Grand Auditoriums:

1997 Cujo14 - old growth cedar/black walnut
2014 K24e - master grade koa
2018 Custom GA - bear claw sitka spruce/mahogany
2019 614 - torrified sitka spruce/flamed maple
2020 714 - lutz spruce/rosewood

The 316ce and the 414ce both had similar fretboard inlays to the 514ce. The inlays definitely look much more modern than the round dot inlays. 8) Nice changes, Taylor! :)

- 800 nylons have maple binding and the 800 series inlays
- 900 nylons have 900 appointments (Cindy, et al)
- 400 nylons look like 400s

500 series is back to tortoise shell binding, with new engraved diamond inlays.
400 series has engraved dots that become ovals as they go up the fretboard (very classy!)
300 series gets the micro dots and darker stain (paste fill).

Oh, did I mention the GS Mini Mahogany?
Or the Mahogany 12-fret and Baritones?

We've been very busy!

And... we have already shipped to a handful of select dealers. We also sent new guitars to Amsterdam in December, so they should be arriving any day in Europe as well.

Happy new guitar year!

An excellent offering, Brian. I know a young lady who was hoping for this precise offering on the GS mini. Thank you  :)

Brian
very nice offerings. i just picked up a new 516CE from 2011, love it, the cedar has won me over. So much so i've sold a few of my "other brands" and i have been looking for a cedar/EIR 716 to complement the 516. I really dig the rosette change and the burst on that new 700 and glad to hear a cedar top is available.

I now have my target set.

Jim(GR), i expect i'll be talking with you in a few months

What a lineup! Brian, are there any dealers in the greater Los Angeles area, or within an hours drive that have received the new models? I am walking distance from Westwood Music but they don't have anything new.

Thank you
Paul
