Hey from Iowa
« on: January 09, 2012, 09:49:00 PM »
Hello to all. Since my roots are in Taylors it seemed fitting to wander over as soon as I found out about the UTGF. Hope to share more Taylor enthusiasm. Been an owner of many since '97.

Welcome! What part of Iowa do you call home? Long ago and far away I lived a few years in Muscatine, (on the Mississippi, east edge of the state, south of Davenport - Quad Cities area)  When I first moved there, about this time of the year, there was so much snow on the ground and plowed up on the streets that it was over a month till I learned that buried in some of the drifts were cars :(  I learned in my short time there that it can be a land of weather extremes.

RE WHERE: I am near Des Moines. Fortunately, this winter is atypical as we have no snow and 45-60plus temps.

RE WHAT: I have a 2000 K14c no e Engleman top with an original poodle case and a 07 GA3.

Thank you for the welcomes!
