'10 DN7 options

I recently bought a 2010 DN7 that came with a pickgaurd and chrome tuners, but according to Taylor specs, the DN7's came without the pickgaurds and came with gold tuners.

I looked at several on ebay and Reverb and they had gold tuners and no pickguard.

I also forgot to mention that mine has diamond fret markers and my headstock is bound in ivoroid.

Call Taylor and verify the serial number with the build spec.

my first guess is it might have been a modify-a-model,
with a couple of standard model options -
the gold tuners were sub'd for chrome & the pickguard was added,
but the bound headstock & diamond inlays are not standard

another possibility is that the body is a DN7 &
the 'updated' neck was replaced at a later date

Hey Max, is your inlays dots or diamonds? Also, is your headstock bound in ivoroid?

Dut4907...My 2013 DN7 came with a pick guard, chrome tuners, bound ivoroid headstock and Diamonds. Made 9-12-2013. I am the 3ed owner.
