NGD - 214CE-DLX
« on: March 20, 2016, 12:50:40 PM »
Since my daughter confiscated my old Yamaha acoustic around Christmas, I've been looking to replace it with something a little nicer to serve as my everyday / living room guitar.

This is what I settled on.  More then I wanted to spend, but when I finished comparing a bunch of guitars this one stood out.

Enjoy the photos, and thanks for everyones input along the way!!!

Obviously I'm having problems with the pictures.  My wife even looked at it and can't figure it out based on the instructions in frequently asked questions.  HELP!!

The way I do it is, click on "attachments and other options" directly under the box you type in. As long as the pictures are stored on the same device.

Very nice - congratulations.  I think I'll try the "my daughter took my other guitar" line next time I want to go shopping :-)

Hi All

Got to agree. I bought a 214Ce Koa Deluxe about 18 months ago.Tried it against some higher priced Taylor, Martins and others but it just stood out to me. Even did the 'blind' test when I got the salesman to play my shortlist of three with me facing the other way. Just sounded right to me. Love the guitar and the tonal differences I can get with different picks or playing at different places on the guitar is amazing. It looks stunning as well, there's a slight
blemish on the upper bout but it's perfectly matched on the lower one. OK it's layered back and sides but they really are stunning guitars. I love mine.
