I'm considering an online purchase of a 1996 Taylor 512cs. My understanding is that it is essentially the same as a 512-ng without electronics.
I primarily play fingerstyle and find that I prefer the Grand Concert.
I currently own a Taylor 712 12 fret, a Martin CEO-7 and an Eastman E6-OM, but lately I've only been playing the 712 12 fret. The Martin neck is not quite as comfortable.
I'm hoping that the neck on a 1996 512 will be even more comfortable than the 712 but I really don't know what to expect.
I'd appreciate any input folks can share regarding the differences in the neck on a 1996 512 when compared to a 2015 712.
Would you expect there to be noticeable difference?
