Yeah.  I think that's someone's attempt at humorous concatenation for Jeff Lynne's Electric Light Orchestra...  Like plain ol' ELO isn't good enough... :o

they (he) were (was) on jimmy kimmel last night; not that familiar with late nite tv since leno retired.
 
'jlelo' definitly from my humor wheelhouse, but maybe not unrealistic given previous replies about jl's hubris/realism in renaming the band.   ::)

btw, there was a jeff lynne special on palladia tv a while back.  besides being a dedicated musician, he came across as being a very nice person.

Yeah, Jeff has a reputation, at least among rock stars, as being fairly down-to-earth and humble.  But he's pretty stubborn about protecting this work, which may come across as ego at times...

i believe musicians should protect their work.  one need look no further than john fogerty's travails to see what a mess that can be.  anyone remember the claymation video for "*antz can't dance"?  ('*' =  z or x; your choice.)

I watched it on Hulu this morning(Only the opening monologue and then Jeff)and I think the band looks pretty comfortable together, they are getting a lot of air time on XM/Sirrius radio with When I Was a Boy.
