ES2 setup
« on: August 07, 2015, 01:08:48 AM »
Just curious how tight or loose most of us are adjusting the pickup hex-nuts. I basically tighten mine gently until it naturally stops, then I back off just a touch. (Less than 1/4 turn)

I've tried adjusting them according to the sound, but my amp is so small that it's easily overpowered. I once loosened them until one of the screws came out and it still sounded loud on my amp.

Also, it seems if you loosen them too much, the pickup can rather easily sink down revealing the holes in the bridge. Hmmm...

There's a tech sheet or maybe a  video on the Taylor website showing you how to adjust then and I'm pretty sure there was a leaflet in the case came with mine.
