Father's Day hasn't been much of a day for me since I lost my son in 2003. I drove up to Blowing Rock to visit my dad. Took him some scotch (Dr. wrote an order for 3 ounces of scotch per day), beef jerky, smoked almonds, and licorice. We had a nice visit. He'll always be my dad and Jacob will always be my son.

Father's Day ain't so bad after all.

Sympathies, CodeBlue.  I lost my dad in late 2005 (the day before my birthday).  Since he is buried in Michigan and I live in Idaho, I don't get to visit with him.  But I still remember him fondly whenever I pick up a guitar, especially his.  Fortunately I got to visit with him just three weeks before he passed suddenly.
Taylors:  424-LTD (all koa) and a 114ce that lives with friends in Alaska.  Low maintenance carbon fiber guitars are my "thing" these days, but I will always keep the koa 424.  Several ukulele and bass guitars too.
