Thanks dcasey1-

From your signature, I surmise that you are a cedar-lover like me. A lot of sweet surprises can result from a guitar that pairs cedar with rosewood, mahogany, walnut - even maple or koa! Thanks for the vote of confidence. I'll share pics when this guitar lands in early August.
My Taylor Grand Auditoriums:

1997 Cujo14 - old growth cedar/black walnut
2014 K24e - master grade koa
2018 Custom GA - bear claw sitka spruce/mahogany
2019 614 - torrified sitka spruce/flamed maple
2020 714 - lutz spruce/rosewood

One more nod towards cedar tops.  I think my 514ce is one of my best guitars.  I have a Adi top 514, but the cedar just hits the sweet sound I love.
During my many acquisitions I got a 714ce with cedar top, but sold it, and regret doing that sell.  You know the story.  Point is that cedar sounds great, weather it is mahogany, rosewood, walnut, it is going to be good.

I'm interested in doing a side by side tonal comparison between this new one and my '97 cedar walnut GA. I still love that guitar, my first Taylor....
