there is a brief sample of barbara stanwyck on a tv in tony's apartment. robert wagner, who plays tony's father (in a recurring role), turns off the tv when tony comes in. barbara stanwyck was shown in a black and white program very briefly. what makes this interesting is that this is the second time that they have sampled stanwyck. what makes this really interesting is that robert wagner starred with her in the movies. what makes this super interesting is that a very young robert wagner had a long time affair with a much older barbara stanwyck.
does anyone know what picture the sample was from? it was over before my brain caught up to what i saw. all things considered, was it from a picture with wagner? and i wonder who decided to use her clip. too much coincidence for it to be random.
and robert wagner and michael weatherly have great chemistry as 'senior' and 'junior'.
edit: just remembered that 'tony' is a movie buff; constantly quotes movies in the show. hmm.
