I'm a big fan of http://www.stringsandbeyond.com because they consistently have the lowest prices and the best service.  Plus, they regularly ship internationally.  They can get strings to you in as few as two days.

Hmmm do you think they'd ship to our villa when we visit Orlando later this year? they are considerably cheaper than we pay in the UK

I found the cheapest Aussie supplier on Ebay and was reasonably happy with those.

I put a new set on my guitar.  This is the first time I have new Elixir strings on it.  The thing that surprised me is that after one week, the wound G string is turning a blackish colour around the second fret.  It's quite humid where I live and I play my strings pretty hard, but I am surprised at this.  Having said that, they still sound good, although you would expect that after a week.  What experiences do others have regarding this issue.

And re the post 2 above, I would be interested to know what your comments are on those different sets of strings you have bought, particularly the first two.

Cheers from Australia

I really like cleartones. I'm not sure what the Au availability is here but here Elixirs will cost me about $3 more per box than the cleartones.
