I routinely confuse co-workers with my
Pittsburghese: chipped ham, city chicken, dippy eggs, gumbands, jag-off, nebby, yinz...
A milk shake was ice cream and milk blended together, but we call subs (or grinders, if you will) "hoagies..." Eh, what do you expect from a city that also puts fries and cole slaw on their 'samitches...?'
By the way, welcome, "donlyn!"
