since the poll will only allow a quantity of 1 per category, the only way
to know with any accuracy is that if there is 'more than one', it would
need to be noted in the post, which was mentioned at the start of the thread

a LTD or BTO GS would be checked in either the LTD or BTO & GS/X16ce categories
(which could make 1 guitar look like 2), but the size would be noted -
the BTO category also includes 'modify-a-model' guitars as well

TaylorPlayer516 started a thread about 2 months after this one
http://www.unofficialtaylorguitarforum.com/index.php?topic=1068
which would give a more accurate count, in terms of total numbers

the number of GA/X14s will be significantly higher than the GS, because the GA
has been available since 94, with non-cutaway models in 300/400s starting in 97
(400) & 98 (300) & the GS was introduced in 06, X16s in 08, the standard 3/416
have only been around barely 2 years (11 for the 416 & 12 for the 316) & there
aren't any GS3/4, 116/e/ce, 216/e/ce, 12 fret or NS-GS models yet (the GA has 'em all) -
the total number of DN/JMs was likely under 2500 by the time the GC/X12 was introduced
in 84 & between 84-92, there were around 18,500 guitars made total (3100 of them 400s),
so i'd venture to guess that the GA has been the most popular model for a good while now,
also taking into consideration that there are no 100/200 series GC or JM models

this thread wasn't meant to be about the total number of guitars, but rather just what was being played -
there was also a series thread started by rudals way back in the beginning (still, only 1 vote per choice)
http://www.unofficialtaylorguitarforum.com/index.php?topic=10.0

until an option can be added for multiple votes in one category
(i've yet to see such a thing), it will depend on a post being added
it's not about what you play,
it's all about why you play ...

love my 3 (see sig). 916 for chords and unplugged. 914 for finger picking and subtle silkness. GS Mini for mucking around and traveling.

I enjoy the GSmini for the light weight and small size.  And, it still sounds good; especially so for a travel guitar.

My 314 gets most of my attention. We're still in our honeymoon phase. I'm still blown away by the ease of playability and the powerful, beautiful sounds that my 314 projects. It hasn't made me a better player per se, but it certainly makes what I play sound better. A definite keeper.

My SB-1 and Carvin 12 string don't get much attention, but that's alright.

If there could be only one, my 314ce would be that one.
