Removable pick guard use.
« on: December 30, 2014, 12:11:39 PM »
I have a Taylor "static cling" clear pick guard that I got primarily for use on my 324ce-K FLTD. It does sorta cling to the non-glossy finish but it takes only a small touch to slide it aside (or off). So, is there a trick to making this stick on better? Or, is this a function of the super-smooth matte finish?

FYI - the intent is to remove this after playing and not to ever leave it in place for long.

I thought about putting a pickguard on my 714 but then I decided not to bother, if it gets too badly scratched then I can cover them up with a pickguard later.
