O.A.R. (new album + shameless plug)
« on: June 18, 2014, 10:17:36 AM »
Hi all!

O.A.R. is a band that I've been listening to for the past decade and a major reason why I picked up a guitar back in high school. They've recently released their 8th studio album, The Rockville LP. If you haven't checked it, give it a try. Their style has evolved over the years, and their newer tunes are a bit more poppy and produced, but they're definitely a fun listen. AND, if you're into live music - they put on a unique and exciting performance.

Now, for the shameless plug! I am hoping to take my brother (who recently started listening to O.A.R.) to his first concert in a couple weeks (Cincinnati, Ohio). Through this media sharing site - they're giving away free tix + meet & greets with band. To win, I need to have as many people click on the video(s) and watch/let them play through. If you don't mind, give it a click (especially, if you've never heard of the band!).

This is their new single - Peace

P.S. I might add that Marc (lead singer/acoustic guitar) plays a mighty fine Taylor 514ce :)

it's not about what you play,
it's all about why you play ...
