I had a great day.  Went camping and took the GS Mini of course.

Had a nice day. Unfortunately didn't get to see either of my girls, but chatted to both on the phone and received a pocket BBQ recipe book and set of EJ16s from one and a 6 month Friday Night Curry subscription from the other.

They know what I like and I love 'em loads.

I drove up the Junior Johnson//Doc and Merle Watson//Benny Parsons Highway (US 421 North) to see my dad in Blowing Rock, NC. The mountains are beautiful this time of year. Everything is so green. Listened to Charlie Ellis play piano on Saturday night at the Green Park Inn. Sunday, we ate brunch at Canyons where a local jazz trio provided us with some smooth sax tunes. I played some guitar for dad and showed him my mad mod skills (newly installed Gotoh 510 tuners). ;)
