Give these folks a visit.

Very nice, but I couldn't justify 10% of the guitar price for a TRC, I think I'll just make my own also.  Thanks for the thread

for a maple mini, this one looks like it would be a pretty nice match, imho

the $ isn't too terribly terrible, considering it's made out of the most
expensive wood on the planet, provided it's the correct dimensions
it's not about what you play,
it's all about why you play ...

Been working with Bruce @ petrosguitars.com for the last few months on some custom TRCs for my Mini / T5z / 316ce. Just received them today and I couldn't be more pleased. He was a complete pleasure to deal with. I know he and his son want to spend their time building really beautiful guitars, but for those of us who can't quite afford one yet, this was a nice treat. They are rosewood laminate (laminate is what gives the darkened carved parts effect). They incorporate my family's heraldic crest and a fleur de lis to tie in our south Louisiana heritage. They weren't cheap, but I have ZERO remorse for paying a little more for something from such a quality luthier with some very personal symbolism. Plus, I can take them off my current batch of guitars and move them to whatever's next--not that I would EVER trade or consider buying more guitars... that would be crazy, right?

Man those are pretty!

I'm planning on ordering the celtic knot TRC from petros sometime soon. If my wife doesn't order it for my birthday, I'll be using any birthday money for it...one way or another...
