Official NGD

Two and a half years ago my wife bought me a Custom GC one-off at a road show as a gift for my impending 65th birthday.  That birthday is today.  This guitar has a sinker redwood top and AA EIR back and sides, and is trimmed everywhere, including the back of the headstock, with ebony. The reddish chocolate tones of the wood, coupled with red and white purfling, have led us to refer to this outstanding 12-fret guitar as "Rosie".

Mazel tov.  I hope it gets plenty of playing time, considering what you've already got in your stable.

Very nice. The dark redwood and rosewood sure make for a great looking guitar. Bet it sounds great too.

Thanks, Michael. Gives new meaning to the expression " Green at the gills". Which I will be if I have another glass of wine this evening.
