GS Mini SKB Hard Case

I realize there have been a couple threads about GS Mini alternative cases. In one of those threads, this link was provided.

Just wondered if anyone has this case for their GS Mini.  If so, what do you think of it?

It says it has backpack straps, but I can't seem to see them in the pictures.

How is the quality?

Does the lid stay open (similar to a hardshell case)?

i use those for my Ovations. wonderful lightweight cases. the backpack straps are there and handy as heck. they are much more adjustable the the Mini's gigbag straps.  only problem i have with them is that it's hard to get the bugs out of the outer fabric... i like to ride my motorcycle deep into the adirondacks, find a nice quiet stream with a waterfall and spend a few lazy hours working on stuff. there's a great spot by lake Placid that i can jump from rock to rock out to the middle, sit with my feet in the water and use the acoustics of the stone wall if front, the waterfall and bridge to the side.....ahh... spring would be nice... crap ! back to the case !  very good protection from the pre-formed foam. extra compartment outside holds the sheet music i'm currently working on. i should get one for a GA or GS...can't decide. thanks for reminding me to look for one !

I thought they looked like a real nice case. I wish the GS Mini bag had the inside pocket. And these look like they are actually molded to fit the guitar. I do like the backpack straps like the Taylor bag. Will have to give it serious consideration. Appreciate it.

your welcome !  i just checked, SKB doesn't make them for full sized GS' or GA's 
i used to use SKB products at work a lot. i was surprised to find that they also make guitar cases..the first guitar i bought came with one. it was a pleasant surprise.
