New....OLD Guy
« on: March 06, 2014, 12:32:10 PM »
Howdy from "Preskitt" Arizona USA1

I just added a T5X to my small, but growing collection. The Martin Electric Acoustic and Gibson Les Paul are  collecting dust right now. Am really enjoying getting to know my first Taylor! I have emailed the factory three times to see if I could purchase a user manual for the T5with no response. Anyone know where I might find one I could download?

Thanks,

Dickie

Les Paul Collecting dust?!?! Shameful!!  ;)

Welcome! Nice T5. I'm assuming you've tried Google? Try calling them, I called to get info on my 815-CE-L1 and found them to be VERY helpful.

A warm welcome, Sir. You're in good company, I think most of us are in the "Arctic Blonde" time of our lives. There's a load of information on the Taylor website about the switching and pick-up configuration. There's also some good video info on UTube not to mention some real experts here on the forum. I have a T5 C2 Koa which took me a while to understand. I've not been playing long, but I've had my ears for quite a while and the help and advice available here has been priceless. Enjoy.

Hi Dickie. Welcome to the UTGF. My guitars came with brochures about the electronics. The T5 brochure might be hidden on Taylor's site somewhere. You can always start a thread to get specific info/input on the T5. Congrats and enjoy. :)
