YouTube teacher with new Taylor
« on: March 05, 2014, 12:13:07 PM »
Marty used to play a Martin all the time in his online lessons. Now he has this awesome Taylor. I wonder if he switched on his own, or Taylor contacted him for an endorsement because he's so popular. http://youtu.be/zdU7gr1b0Go

Looks like a brand-new 814.  Sounds great.

it looks the martin he's playing is a DCPA2, which is a pretty nice guitar -
the X14 body shape may be more comfortable for him, although it's interesting
that he's playing a 14 spec 814ce rather than a GPCPA model ... changing things up
it's not about what you play,
it's all about why you play ...

Anyone know what Martin Taylor plays?  Wouldn't surprise me if he endorses Gibson.

By the way, Happy Traum of Homespun tapes (check 'em out--many, many lessons from rather famous players) has played numerous Taylors on his tutorials.
