Seattle Wintergrass 2014
« on: February 04, 2014, 07:08:27 PM »
Just wanted to let evertone know Seattle's Wintergrass (Bluegrass, not smoking grass - altho that may be there, too!) festival will be at the Bellevue Hyatt Regency February 27 thru March 2. The website for more info is http://www.acousticsound.org/index.html
Anyone that loves wooden mountain music will find it entertaining, as groups from all over the country will be performing. I am volunteering, so if you come out and see an old, stressed-out guy running around in circles, stop and say "Hi". I believe Taylor Quality Guitars is a sponsor, altho I have yet to see a bluegrass standard guitar strummer/picker with anything other than a Martin, usually D-28. I think it's because Taylor is relatively new on the scene, and these groups like to keep it "Old Timey". :)
