Baritone bliss

Not only did a Froggy magically appear on my doorstep, but an Alvarez baritone came as a holiday gift as well.  What great fun!  It's quite a beautiful guitar in its simplicity.  And that floppy low B string is reminiscent of a stand up bass. It's just fun to have a completely different guitar voice. The baritone is apparently not for everyone, but so far it is a fit for me.

I'm happily transposing some songs I play in C minor on a standard 6(A minor progressions capoed to 3rd fret) to the baritone (e minor shape progressions capoed one fret up, which is.......c minor).  I look forward to collaborating in a few weeks with another player who will play the original arrangements on a standard 6.  We will have an "audience" of 50-100.........
