Guitar Scale Redux or "Guitar Scale for Dummies"
« on: November 16, 2013, 12:38:57 PM »
I came across this info and posted it on another site and thought it might be of interest to some of the members here.

Much has been written on guitar scale length, here and elsewhere, and the affects the scale length has on playability, tone, tuning etc etc.

I read the following on the Guitar Master Class web site and found it quite informative and easy to understand. It is probably as close to "Guitar Scale for Dummies" as I have seen, and contains several drawings and pictures that help in explaining the topic.

I apologize if this link has been attached here previously but even so I thought there may be some members such as myself, that haven't seen it.
