 It's not a Telecaster. My newest addition to the family: A 2010 Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster. An Eric Clapton Artist Series Strat. I rescued her from a lifetime of solitary confinement, locked inside of a G&G vintage tweed case.

Me either, but I do agree that it is a sweet looking guitar. Very sharp! Congrats!

 i like strats. like the others, i have 2 electrics but, i can't remember the last time i plugged in. seems a shame with a nice Les Paul Custom Shop (maybe someday someone will rescue that one too) but it's nice to know i have it if i ever decide i wanna find my inner Stevie Ray.

I think every person who plays guitar should have an electric.  Acoustic guitars are great, but somehow songs like "Witchy Woman" just don't translate to acoustic.

Sweet! the 25dB boost is great for driving the front end of a good tube amp.  Love the V neck on them too.  Congrats on scoring a killer guitar!

Very nice!  Congrats on the new addition.  Plenty of us play in both camps.  I had a Strat about 10 years ago and enjoyed it... not as nice as this beauty, though.
