Just introducing myself

Hi, I'm a new Taylor owner and a new guitar player. I'm blessed enough to have my first guitar be a Taylor 514ce and I am definitely hooked. Today, I went out and purchased a GS Mini Koa and put a deposit on an 814ce which I will hopefully pick up in the next few weeks. ;D


I'm looking forward to learning from each of you and of course seeing your fantastic Taylor guitars as well!

Welcome VanRK. You have a very impressive stable of Taylors! You are definitely hooked, just like many of us. I can't wait to see pictures of your new guitars. You will enjoy being a Taylor owner and spending time here.

welcome in VanRK. nice collection already. could you hurry up and pay off that 814ce? i need to borrow it next tuesday.
( oh and yeah...all of us here love to see "baby pics" of your new guitars...I prefer "guitar porn" but try not to offend some..that usually doesn't work anyway...i offend a lot !! ;D)

Definitely "hooked."  You are a guitar dealer's delight!   ;)  Welcome to the forum.  For full disclosure, hanging around here won't do anything to slow down the guitar acquisition you're currently experiencing... but, it is a great place to learn more about Taylor stuff - nice people, a great wealth of information, and a bunch of enablers.  ;)

Good to have you here.  Photos are always welcome (we enjoy "show & tell").

Welcome, VanRK, as a new player, you are starting out impressively!  I started out guitar on a $40 Aria (42 years ago) and it took me 42 years to finally acquire my first Taylor!

Thanks everyone for the kind welcome! I definitely do have a couple of great guitars... my wife isn't too happy cause today I started looking at BTOs. :)


Perhaps I should wait until my playing starts to catch up to my desires? Whatever the case, I'm having a blast reading about everyone else's experiences.


I'll share pictures perhaps tomorrow when I can take a couple of better shots.
