Greetings from Wyoming!
« on: May 28, 2013, 11:40:11 PM »
Hi everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself.  I've been around on the "other" forum for quite a while, but I was excited to find a place that's all about Taylor guitars--because I'm a huge fan, and I'm very fortunate to own several of them.  I've been lurking for several weeks, but I decided it's time to introduce myself and officially join the community!  Looking forward to hanging out with all of you!

Best,
Scott

Welcome aboard, Scott!  I am guessing that "Jackson" in your name refers to the town?  Western Wyoming may be the most beautiful place in the lower-48.  I spent two summers driving a cruise boat on Jackson Lake - this may be the best "office with a view" that I have enjoyed...

Playing your Taylor in that environment (keep it humidified)... priceless!

 :)

You are correct, Captain Jim - my screen name comes from the town of Jackson (which is where my wife and I were married and is also the name of our dog!) :) We don't live there, but my family has a place in Jackson Hole, and we try to visit as often as possible--which is not often enough for me!  Very interesting that you drove the cruise boat on Jackson Lake--I've seen that boat out on the lake many times!  That would definitely be a nice place to call your office.  Anyway, thanks for posting that great photo.  Here's one that I took last summer a few miles from our place near Moran.

See you around on the forum,
Scott

P.S.  Yes--humidifying instruments in this climate is critical! :)

Very nice!  I've kayaked that stretch (the horseshoe) numerous times.  Look close at the glacier on Mt. Moran... kinda looks like a guitar, doesn't it?  8)

Best wishes,
