Greetings from Florida Gulf Coast

Hello.  I just returned from a local guitar store in Tampa where I purchased my first Taylor guitar.  I decided on a cool looking K26ce.  It will join it's stable mates of a Martin D-45 and Gibson Hummingbird.
I am a little hesitant about owning the Koa wood, mostly because I've never had an exotic wood before.  Any tips of keeping the finish up?

Great to have you here!  Treat your guitar just like the others.  The finish on Taylor guitars is superb.  ;)

Welcome, that is one beautiful guitar!!  I grew up across Alligator Alley near Ft. Lauderdale, love those Florida winters..... 8)

Enjoy your new guitar, I have a couple of koa Taylor's and koa ukuleles and love them all.  May be adding the new K28 this summer....we'll see.
