Hello Mark,
Welcome to the forum. A lot of great people here. Very knowledgeable and helpful.   Enablers so be careful  :D
I have a GS Mini that is about 7 months old and I love it love it love it. It's better playing and sounds better now than it did when I bought it. Looks prettier to. Can not go wrong with any Taylor and the Mini is no exception.

Hi Mark
Welcome. I`m in the same position as you, no Taylor (YET!!). Going to try and go to one of the UK Taylor road shows next week. Probably a bad idea though as it will make my Tayloritis worse.
Called in at my nearest dealer this week and had a decent play on a 214CE Koa. Played like a dream and looked stunning. I know its laminate back and sides but it sounded fantastic. Also tried a 314CE, sounded very good as well.
Good luck in your search.
