Hey everyone, new guy here. Im new to guitar as of about 10 months ago. Ive been playing my instructors Gibson J-45 Custom, and I've been thinking I needed one of my own. I have recently sold something out of the gun collection, and guitar acquisition synd. was alive and well with me this weekend. I was determined I wanted a Martin HD-28. A kind gentleman in my local GC was tearing up a Taylor and we struck up a conversation. I never really tried a Taylor, but boy am I glad I did. I bought an 814ce, way more than I merit, but I got it. As a new player, it seems so much easier to work the fretboard. The fit and finish and the case seemed much better also.
I'm kind of curious if any of you experienced guys might be able to tell me why a novice would find it easier to play the Taylor.
Anyhow, I'm a 52 yo physician who's always wanted to play, and it's now or never!
