2 new TRC's from Bill

As always, Bill Nichols came through with some beautiful pieces. I ordered the koi for my new hog GS Mini and the cross/dove is for one of the young ministers at church who plays his Taylor 214ce every week. I also took photo's of the two Bill made previously for my 414ce (lily) and the wife's GS Mini (frog).

That koi is something special.  The curves and the colors are just right. Congrats!

The orange in the koi is amazing close to the color of the mahogany top on the mini. It really looks super together. The ebony tuner buttons are due any day then its off to the tech to have the Collasi bone saddle and pins fit up. I enjoy this little guitar more each day. My 414 will always be my favorite but the Mini is trying hard to compete.

I have a Gothic Cross TRC and ebony pickguard on order for a GS Mini Hog. They should be here soon it has been about 5 weeks since I ordered them.

I delivered the cross/dove TRC to the Jr. pastor at church Wednesday night. Looking forward to seeing it on stage during services tomorrow. Hopefully he liked it enough to install it. The TRCs look so much nicer in person. To me, they are my single most favorite way to make the guitar unique to me. If I should ever sell one, they are simple enough to remove.

I think since I've joined this UTGF, I've already spent a few thousand dollars (at least in my mind).  You all give me so much to think about and consider buying.  [Thought cloud: Could a koi look good on my GS8e?]
