New guy here
« on: January 31, 2013, 11:45:55 PM »
Sean here, but I go by Smalls.  Just joined, I'm on the AGF as leftycajun. Nice to see the taylor specific thing continuing here. I've owned a few Taylors and just got a new one, a 1998 814c lefty (NGD thread with pics to be posted in the acoustic forum later this evening). Like the guitars, like the company. Really like the direction the designs have taken since Andy came on board (not that I didn't like the old ones, I just really dig what they're putting out lately!)

Great to have you Sean!  I still visit the AGF as well!   Lots of great folks on both forums!  Please make yourself at home!  Congrats on your latest Taylor purchase!  ;D

Hi Smalls and welcome to the UTGF. Please do post some pics of your lefty 814c when you get a chance because we don't have too many lefty pics. Nice to meet you and look forward to hearing more from you. :)

Very nice, Smalls! :)

The TRC looks lighter in color than the headstock overlay although I don't know which woods were used for either on your model. The top looks as though it's aged nicely in color, and I like the 'smiley' design the bridge pins create! Enjoy your beauty! :D
