Hi Coldshot, thank you for the info, you guys have some really good threads over on the AGF.
You are right it is a misunderstood guitar. I have been wanting one for several years but really didn't take them seriously or even play one - I just heard them at Road Shows and of course I just always thought the product specialists could make my old Yamaha sound great.
Now that I have been playing it I see what everyone means - it's so versatile. I too like the 2, 4, and 5 positions - played mostly thru an electric amp just on clean right now until I figure out which acoustic amp to get. I don't gig or open mic......yet - my resolution this year is to get out and play with others more. The 3 position is good too as I like the Tele sound so I guess the only position I don't care for right now is 1 but that could change once I got hooked up to a proper amp or PA system.
I've been experimenting with the controls and I can tell there are limitless options with this guitar as to the sounds you can get from it. In some ways I wish I had discovered this guitar first - I love my 516, K66, and my terz guitars but this is really all someone like me needs - living room player who occasionally gets into some electric playing.
