Hi from Indiana
« on: January 27, 2013, 09:54:46 AM »
After admiring friends' Taylors for years and enjoying their sound at open mics, I finally joined the Taylor owners club in December with a new GA3.  I picked the GA3 because I love the GA body size and the 314/GA3 are excellent sounding guitars.  I also wanted to add my own pickup and did not need a cutaway.  I currently am using a Baggs M1A and love the sound both acoustically and plugged in.  Happy to be part of the Taylor family.

Welcome to the UTGF! :)

I actually prefer Taylor's sapele (3-series) and ovangkol (4-series) to their more expensive siblings because of the tone. The GA body is also my favorite. Nice to have you here and hope to see more of you. :D

I must have had a senior moment this morning.  For some reason I thought I was posting to a long running "hello" thread and mine would just be an additional post.  Wasn't until I got back home this evening that I realized I'd started a new thread.  No harm, no foul, I guess.  ;)

Congratulations of the new Taylor it's a excellent choice, I played one this weekend myself and loved it.
