Looks like a GS model with a slightly wider waist.  Looks like an acoustical cannon!!!

i thought it might be called that, but that designation is used by another builder :-\

it states it's 'Taylor's biggest body shape' (no dimensions listed), but it is placed
between the grand auditorium & grand symphony (would it be bigger than the GS) &
the jumbo also shows 'our biggest body shape' (just wondering which it is) :-\

there's a new headstock inlay on the 618e 8)

well ... it's a GO :)

My major excitement here is that it's a non-cutaway with "ce" appointments! Could this mean that a 914 or a 914e will be available too? If Taylor truly is incorporating the non-cutaways into the "ce" line, this would be the "bigger" news for me!
My Taylor Grand Auditoriums:

1997 Cujo14 - old growth cedar/black walnut
2014 K24e - master grade koa
2018 Custom GA - bear claw sitka spruce/mahogany
2019 614 - torrified sitka spruce/flamed maple
2020 714 - lutz spruce/rosewood

Will the GO be replacing the jumbo model? Will it be available as a 12 string!! So many questions!! I am excited about this one. I am also happy to see that there is no cutaway!!

Obviously the cat's out of the bag but given that the official release date wasn't supposed to be until the 25th I'll say only that the GO is the most powerful Taylor I have ever played! As I was playing the Rosewood version I noticed that my coffee cup, which was located a few feet away on a small table started to vibrate.  ;)

So how big is the GO? Can u share with us? Is it bigger than a jumbo?

My hunch is that the width of the grand orchestra model at the lower bout is less than the jumbo's 17 inches.

The shape looks identical to the GS by just looking at it so I can't wait to read the dimensions and compare it to the GS.

I wonder if it has a deeper tone or the classic "Taylor sound."

the shape looks real close to the GS.  Possibly a lightly wider lower bout but it seems to me that even if it was the GS shape and size it is still the largest body style. From the discription I would tend to say the NEW BRACING design is what will give this guitar the EXTRA they are talking about.

posted on the Taylor web site : •Specially braced to be responsive to a dynamic attack.

So it still could the GS ( which is the largest body) but with all new bracing design to give it the new voice.
