Hi ! I am new to the board and a new Taylor player. Last week I picked up my first Taylor, a 414ce-FLTD. Instantly fell in love with this guitar. Tone is full and warm with just enough brightness and she plays like a a dream. Still in the honeymoon but I expect many years of enjoyment from this guitar !
As for me I am an experienced musician (38) located near Edmonton Alberta Canada. Primarily an electric player I have recently been doing a lot more acoustic playing. Before the Taylor my main acoustic was my Alvarez Master works MD60C, a cedar topped dreadnaught. Also a great guitar ... but not at the level of the Taylor. For electrics I am a PRS guy, so basically I appreciate a quality built instrument and that is what drew me to the Taylor.
Looking forward to checking out the posts on the board here and getting to know more about Taylor's.

PS. A buddy of mine and I have an acoustic duo playing originals and covers ... two days after I bought my Taylor he went and picked up a 414ce (not the limited).
