I used to say that listening to Jerry Garcia live was such an intimate thing, he had a special charisma that made you feel like he was playing for you and his closest friends in his living room on Christmas Eve as you all wait for Santa, who is on his way!! I know it sounds silly but if you've been to a show, you probably know what I'm talking about. I feel so lucky to have experienced it. Anyway, thought I'd share.
