Just ordered a 214CE-L (yes, I'm one of those lefties) to replace my OLD Yamaha FG350, daily player, that I bought in 1981. I figured after 31 years the Yami can retire. I mostly fingerpick, and finger-strum, and I wanted a cutaway. For that type of playing, the 214CE just sounded better to me than several other brands that I tried. I then watched all of Bob's videos one night, and decided he was a good guy and I should give him my money. It should arrive in a few days. I'm hoping my wife lets me play it early, as it IS a Christmas present!
BTW, it is a pain buying lefty guitars, A lot of driving around to try what you want left handed. I actually had other guys play some guitars, so I could hear them properly (including the 214CE) before I made the purchase. You right-handers are lucky!
Glad to have found this forum.
