Pininfarina. It is a 1961 Pininfarina built on a Cadillac chassis that was presented to Jacqueline Kennedy.

Mrs SMan had this little beauty when we met in the late 70's.  69 Mach I 390, 4 speed.  Those were the days.

Is it yours?  If so, how did you acquire it?   It looks like it is moving just sitting there.

(I don't know if I "quoted" correctly.  If not, would someone please explain the correct way?)

No, it isn't mine. A while back I had been looking at Italian designs on American chassis and thought the '61 Pininfarina Cadillac was interesting design in addition to the historical interest of its having been presented to Jacqueline Kennedy.

We both wish we still had this car.  The funny thing about it was that despite the 390 it didn't have a posi rear end.

:o :o
that's interesting, but i imagine that the way it is optioned,
i believe more/most of them had posi, so 'rare' is more like 'hen's teeth'  8)

i was looking for one back in the late 80's & i couldn't find one
that i thought was 'reasonable' & i could've gotten a 'basketcase'
67/8 cougar XR-7 390 for a song (think GS Mini $), but i ended up
spending a bit more & got a 69 coug 351W/FMX & upgraded the 2V to 4

fun :D ... a little too much fun, actually ::)
