Don't know what yer talkin' about!

The car I learned how to drive in! I re-did the paint and engine in 1985. It's only got 89K miles!

i would say so, imho ...
with 290 horses & about 3500 curb weight, that'll go nicely :)

i've got a 'project' 90 infiniti Q45 with a 278 horse 4.5L &
at highway speed when you put the spurs to it & it shifts into 2nd ...  (weee) ;D

LOL - when I saw the word 'project' I thought you actually had a project to rebuild the car...then I finally got it.
Yeah man, that maxima sure flies. It's a bit annoying, though, when you're out on a date or with family and these people want to race you;;;;;

i should have clarified & said 'work-in-progress' -
when i bought it, it had a timing chain slap (plastic guides), so a used engine was installed

i let someone that i 'knew' drive it & the front ended up 'meeting' a f150 :(

it has a 'cold-air' intake & 'performance' exhaust, rides on 17" 05 mustang 'bullitt' wheels
(the bolt-pattern, width & offset are perfect) & needs tokico 'blue' struts to match the rear shocks ...
currently faded black (& white), but it will be resprayed in it's original dark gray metallic paint scheme

... mho, it's only a 'race' if you're not sure you'll win ;)

It is a R6, also raced a R1, but I went through two sets of tires a day with it.  At 300 a set, it got to expensive.  I miss racing, but will be back at it when the boys get a little older.
