Hello from NoVA/Wash DC Metro Area
« on: December 21, 2011, 08:33:29 AM »
I guess I'll follow suit since everyone else is making intros.  I'm using my screenname "Magster24", same as in the other forum.

Started musically in piano and violin...took private lessons through HS.  I picked up guitar my junior of high school and have been playing since (almost 15 years).  After an entry-level Yamaha, and a mid-level Takamine (first A/E guitar), I've made the big jump to Taylors.  Have found a love for maple.

Hoping to enjoy this forum as much as the other one(s).

Thanks,

Welcome aboard Aaron.  It is good that you've joined up to participate in another Forum.  I think you will like it around these parts as there seems to be a pleasant tone about the people.  Oh, the guitars make a pleasant tone as well.  Another Maple guitar sounds nice.  There does seem to be many around these parts :)

Right, but with my son now, does that justify another guitar to maintain balance in the family? ;)

I've actually been on the lookout for another Baby Maple...but they're hard to come by.

Oh well...don't think the wife wants anymore (guitars that is...we're still debating about more kids :) ).

Hi Aaron! I also love maple guitars and like you, have a 614 and 612 within my family. I love your family photo with your guitars! I'm also into photography as a hobby, so we've got some interests in common. I'm really happy you're here. Aaron  :)
