Haven't been back to the studio since the day after I got it...you know, Christmas and stuff.

I'll get them ASAP! Sorry guys (and gals).

Wickedly beautiful... oh my!!

I think Taylor does a fabulous job with Sinker Redwood topped guitars; both in appearance and tone.  I cannot imagine ever letting my short scale EIR/Sinker GS get away from me.  Crazy good warm tone and works equally well with a light or heavy touch.  I think Macassar Striped Ebony is one of the very nicest looks when paired with Sinker -- especially a nice stripey Sinker like you have.  I have a huge craving for a Sinker/Walnut short scale GA or GS now.  I'll bet that combination would sound very similar to what you have ordered and will be a little less dark sounding than EIR/Sinker with a bit less overtones.

Last month Ted at LA Guitar Sales told me Taylor was currently out of Sinker Redwood.  I hope not!!!

Everything I've read and heard says they are out.
