Taylor BR-V amplifier. It sounds great. Only problem is that this does not have an XLR input for an additional microphone. So with a vocal mic, I use Fishman SA220 Solo amp.

When playing weekly in our P&W band scenario, I use a Behringer 90w 1x12 w/ piezo(?) tweeter "keyboard" amp as my acoustic guitar monitor amp.  I am running into a DI then XLR out into FOH PA, and also 1/4" out from the DI to the Behringer.

Its not a main gigging amp (although it could be used for that), its just so I can hear myself amongst the vocals and other instruments.  I have the amp on a stand tilted up behind me, works out pretty well.  Been using it in this manner for the last approx. 5 years.

I would like to try the Fishman Loudbox (Mini?) sometime, just to see what its like.

Nice reviews.  Thank you!  You don't happen to also have a Loudbox Artist, do you?

Nice reviews.  Thank you!  You don't happen to also have a Loudbox Artist, do you?

Thanks. Nope - only the Mini and the AGA 70. I'm thinking of selling them bow (they are like new) and buying the Loudbox Artist. I ended up with both because first I bought the Mini, but also wanted to try the VOX. After I got the VOX, I kept a/b-ing them and couldn't make up my mind. I procrastinated long enough that I thought it was too long to try to send one back, so I kept them both. I think the Loudbox Artist is probalby the best of both worlds so I want to try one out and see. The price of the Artist is obvisouly less than the combination of the ones that I have, so in the end I'll either come out slightly ahead or break even. The former, I hope.
