hello from Michigan
« on: September 09, 2012, 12:12:18 AM »
Just learned about this site and glad I did...lots of good stuff here.
I am a newbie at age 58  with 10 months under my belt now. I have gone through a few Taylors (DN3 and a GS7) to find what suits me best ...that being  a Mahogany/Cedar 12 Fret...and I love it! Perfect fit, easy to play...incredible sound!
I look forward to participating in the forum...thanks.

Hello Godfather and welcome! :) As I understand it, you've been playing for 10 months, is that correct? So how do you like playing a 12-string? I would have thought a 12-string would be a little difficult for just 10 months into playing, but I've never tried one. How does it compare to the 6-strings?

Godfather welcome to the forum.  Glade you found the 12th fret you enjoy playing.

Duh! 12-fret not 12-string...my bad! I didn't think the video looked like a 12-string--I just didn't remember what I read! Sorry, I had a brain fart! :-[
