If you're a San Diegan, I think that The Blue Guitar is the place for acoustic guitarists...for sales or repair. There are bigger shops, but there isn't one with more knowledge of acoustic instruments.

I like Alto Music--go to their Spring Valley location from time to time.  Is Wappinger's a big place?  Think they have 3 stores

BTW I believe Alto is Taylor's largest independent seller.

Great Southern Music in Houston, TX does a great job.  I moved about an hour away to College Station but still consider them my go-to dealer. They're good folks.

The Upper Bout is THE place to go in Champaign, IL....The Taylor Road Show people kept commenting all night about how blessed we were to have a store like The Upper Bout in our hometown. Added bonus....it's only about 6 blocks from my house  :)
